FRONTLINE SERVICE  : Granting a Building Permit 

ABOUT THE SERVICE  :  Issuance of a Building Permit prior to construction, erection, alteration, major repair, renovation of any building/ structure owned by government or private entities. The permit may be revoked or cancelled for the following reasons:

-If construction does not start within 1 year from the date of issuance of permit.
-If constructions suspended abandoned for 120 days after it has been started.
-Duly accomplished Application Form (to be secured from the MEO-Office of the Building Official)

Requirements                              

A. If the applicant is the owner of the lot :
-Zoning Clearance
-Land Title
-ax Declaration
-Tax Receipt (current year)
-Bill of Materials       
-Structural Design Computation (as needed)
-Technical Specification
-Lot Plan with Geodetic Engineer Certification that the property does not    encroach in adjoining properties
-Site Development Plan

B. If applicant is not the owner of the lot:
-Duly Notarized Copy of the Contract of Lease and the above requirements/
-Duly Notarized Copy of the Deed of Absolute Sale and the above requirements/
-Duly Notarized Copy of the Contract of Sale and the above requirements/
-Affidavit of Consent of the Lot Owner and the above requirements
-Five (5) sets of plans and Specifications, prepared, signed and sealed by:
-A duly licensed Architect or Civil Engineer for the Architectural and Structure Plans
-A duly licensed Professional Engineer for the Electrical Plans (if applicable)
-A duly licensed Architect or Civil Engineer for the Fence Permit Plan (if applicable)
-Demotion Permit (if applicable)

Fees to be paid   : Based on IRR of (PD 1096) / Based on HLURB Fees

Service Schedule   :  Monday to Friday8:00 am to 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
