AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE DISPOSITION AND ALLOCATION OF THE PER FAMILY PAYMENT RATE (PFPR) OF THE PHIL. HEALTH INSURANCE CORPORATION FOR HEALTH CARE FACILITIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY, RENDERING OUTPATIENT CARE FOR SPONSORED MEMBERS, ORGANIZED GROUPS AND OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS INCLUDING THEIR QUALIFIED DEPENDENTS

BE IT ORDAINED THAT:

 

            Section 1 – Pursuant to PhilHealth Memorandum Circular No. 10, series 2012, the Per Family Payment Rate (PFPR) under the Primary Care Benefit Package shall be disposed and allocated as follows:

 

  1. Eighty percent (80%) of PFPR is for operational cost and shall cover:
    1. Minimum of forty percent (40%) for drugs and medicines listed in the Philippine National Drug Formulary (PNDF) to be dispensed at the facility including drugs and medicines for asthma, acute gastroenteritis and pneumonia;
    2. Maximum of forty percent (40%) for reagents, medical supplies, equipments (i.e. ambulance, ambubag, stretcher, etc.) information technology (IT equipment specific to the needs of facility for it to facilitate reporting and building up for its database) capacity building for staff, infrastructure or any other use related, necessary for the delivery of required service including referral fees for diagnostic services if not available in the facility

 

  1. The remaining twenty percent (20%) shall be exclusively utilized as honoraria of the staff of the health facility and in the improvement of their

capabilities to be able to provide better health services:

    1. Ten percent (10%) for the physician
    2. Five percent (5%) for other health professional staff of the facility
    3. Five percent (5%) for non-health professional/staff, including volunteers

 

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
