A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE THRU SEC. PROCESO J. ALCALA, TO ALLOCATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION PESOS (Php5, 000,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FARM TO MARKET ROAD AT BRGY. FRANCISCO, DINGRAS, ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, Section 25 (b) and (d) of the Local Government Code of 1991 defines the coordination and assistance of national government agencies to local government units;

 

WHEREAS, Section 16 of the Local Government Code defines the primary concern of the local government unit is to improve the lives and comfort of the inhabitants especially on point of becoming self-reliant to improve quality of life;

 

WHEREAS, the priority projects of the Department of Agriculture is to assist on the easy and effective transport of farm products to the final market in order that farmers will realize better income from their farm products as per the report of the Department of Agriculture to this Municipality;

 

WHEREAS, the construction of farm to market roads at Brgy. Francisco is the priority project of the municipality for the reason that this Barangay is a source of agricultural products which is the sole income source of the inhabitants;

 

WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Samuel N. Demandante duly seconded by Hon. Nathaniel Ruben D. Taylan II, it was

 

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to respectfully and earnestly request the Department of Agriculture thru Sec. Proceso J. Alcala, to allocate funds in the amount of Five Million Pesos (Php5, 000,000.00) for the construction of a farm to market road at Brgy. Francisco, Dingras, Ilocos Norte.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to authorize the SB Secretary to transcribe this resolution and furnish copies to Hon. Proceso J. Alcala, Secretary, Secretary, Department of Agriculture, for favorable consideration and approval.
